Despite that short amount of time they each were unique, have a claim to fame in Vegas history and will be missed by many. All of these properties opened in the 1990s and none of them lasted 30 years. Las Vegas is now permanently down three major hotels & casinos. Over the pandemic I filmed the various closed casinos including Texas Station, Fiesta Henderson and Fiesta Rancho a number of times for my closed casinos videos. This Las Vegas casino was the second casino in the city to close its doors in 2018, and it left much of the city’s tourist industry in a state of uncertainty. Lucky Dragon Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada closed in 2018 after a new owner decided not to reopen the casino. Whether true or not, Stations does have competing casinos in the areas of these three properties and they are also building some new casinos as well. Station Casinos has said they have been successful in moving their customers to other properties and see these three as redundant. Two of the properties had voted to unionize not long before the pandemic, but there is no indication that is why they have closed.
